With the Champions League over and Blackpool having secured it’s place in the Prem for the 10/11 season all focus of the football world turns to World Cup preparation. England host Mexico on Monday as both sides begin their final set of warm-up matches. One wonders if Fabio Cappello will seek out Javier Aguirre [...] It’s been a dreadful year for Portsmouth and a glorious one for Chelsea. Can one match change all of that? We doubt it, but, as Chris Berman says, “That’s why they play the games.” We shall see. The Blues vs. Pompey kicks off Saturday morning at 10:00 am EDT on Fox Soccer Channel. |
